No. 1 Ranked JC Running Back Waymond Jordan Jr. Commits to USC

2025 running back Waymond Jordan has experienced a lot in the late stages of his recruiting process, but Sunday was the biggest day of all when he committed and signed with USC.
The one time UCF commit and On3 three-star prospect from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College officially visited USC last week. He did not sign with UCF so he was keeping an open mind on the recruiting trail. J
Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Jordan has amassed more than 1,300 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns this year while averaging better than 7.5 yards per carry. He was lightly recruited out of Escambia High School in the 2022 class. He had several FCS and Division II offers, but opted to go the JUCO route.
After redshirting his first season, he played as a reserve in 2023 but has broken onto the scene this year.

He already has offers from a handful of Group of Five schools, including Utah State, Texas State, Toledo and North Texas. And he has already taken visits this fall to Utah State, Toledo and Western Kentucky.
Jordan is the No. 28 overall junior college prospect in the country and No. 1 RB, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
