USC players “Questionable:”

Takeaways

USC defensive tackle Jahkeem Stewart and cornerback Chasen Johnson are off the availability report this week and expected to play.

Defensive back Prophet Brown is still considered a long-term injury and won’t be back in the immediate future after suffering an injury during fall camp. Without he and Alex Graham, USC went with safety Kamari Ramsey at nickel as the starter and significant snaps against Missouri State.

Kicker Caden Chittenden remains out and walk-on Ryon Sayeri will again handle kickoffs and field goals as he did against Missouri State.

Running back Bryan Jackson is added to the list this week. Riley said he would be “doubtful” heading into the game. Without him available, walk-on King Miller could see his workload increased, or true freshman Harry Dalton could see the first playing time of his career.

Wide receiver Prince Strachan was tackled awkwardly along the sideline last week against Missouri State. Riley said earlier this week that he would be out against Georgia Southern. That could mean increased reps for Zacharyus Williams, Jaden Richardson and/or true freshman Corey Simms.
