The USC Trojans are back in the AP Poll’s Top 25 following a bye week as Lincoln Riley’s team is nationally ranked for the fourth time this season.

USC is No. 23 in the Week 10 AP Poll and the Trojans fell just outside of this week’s Coaches Poll. In that one, the Trojans are the second team among other receiving votes, behind Iowa.

USC’s highest ranking this year was when they landed at No. 20 two weeks ago coming off a big home win over Michigan and before a tough road loss at Notre Dame.

USC’s biggest potential for an upward move this year remains the Nov. 22 trip to an Oregon team ranked No. 6 in both polls this week.

The Trojans’ opponent this coming weekend, Nebraska, earned four votes in the Coaches Poll following a close home win over Northwestern.

Ohio State continues to dominate both polls, collecting all but 14 first-place votes. Indiana earned 11 in the AP Poll and Texas A&M received one in the AP Poll and two in the Coaches Poll.
