USC offers Top-100 2025 ATH Trey Mcnutt
On Monday, USC dished out a new offer to class of 2025 Shaker Heights (OH) four-star athlete Trey McNutt.
McNutt is the No. 96 overall prospect and No. 9 athlete in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 2 player in Ohio.
On3 is higher on Simon than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 62 overall prospect in the country and the No. 4 athlete. On3 ranks Simons as the No. 2 prospect in Ohio.
The offer sheet for McNutt
McNutt is well sought after at this point in his recruitment.
Along with USC, he holds offers from Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Penn State, Tennessee State, West Virginia, Illinois, South Carolina, Purdue, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Central Michigan, Bowling Green, Toledo, Akron, Iowa, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Minnesota, and Michigan State.
McNutt’s stellar sophomore campaign
In the 2022 season, McNutt made consistently made plays on both offense and defense. On the offensive side of the ball, McNutt had 577 scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns. On defense, he had 40 tackles, two tackles for loss, eight pass break ups, and one interception.

So far, he has taken visits to Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Eastern Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Cincinnati.
