USC is going to run the ball under head coach Lincoln Riley. The Oklahoma Sooners rushed for around 180 yards per game each of the past two seasons after going for 251 per game in 2019. The last time the Trojans were in that ballpark was the 2017 season, when USC finished 11-3 and rushed for 185 yards per game. Conversations surrounding Riley typically veers toward his development of quarterbacks. He's certainly earned that. Riley has led multiple quarterbacks to the Heisman Trophy and No. 1 overall selections in the NFL Draft. But lost at times is his determination to build a strong ground game, knowing how much that helps a quarterback thrive.
