USC safety Steve Miller to enter NCAA transfer portal
The latest USC Trojan player set to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens in January is freshman safety Steve Miller.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back played nine total snaps in USC’s season-opening win against Missouri State but did not see the field after that.
There is a significant logjam of young talent in the secondary and a natural shakeout this offseason was expected.
True freshmen Alex Graham and Dee Reddick both earned time at nickel and look like multi-year contributors and likely starters at some point in the future.
