WeAreSC On3 3/25/23: Agholor to the Ravens, Honoring the Seniors, and a 28-Year Drought

WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at former USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor signing with the Baltimore Ravens, the Trojans holding a ceremony honoring their seniors, and UCLA Basketball’s 28-year national championship drought continuing.
Agholor to the Ravens
Yesterday, former USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor signed a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens.

A first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Agholor spent the first six seasons of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders. He played for the New England Patriots the past two years.
Honoring the Seniors
Earlier this week, USC Football held an event honoring its seniors.
Led by the likes of Andrew Vorhees, Brett Neilon, Bobby Haskins, Travis Dye, and Mekhi Blackmon, the group played a huge role in helping the Trojans improve from four wins in 2021 to 11 in 2022.

The class was an incredibly diverse group, too. While some players spent as many as six years with the Trojans, others started their college careers elsewhere and transferred to USC for one season only.
28-Year Drought
On Thursday night, UCLA fell 79-76 to Gonzaga in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
With the defeat, the Bruins’ national championship drought extended to 28 years. In addition, UCLA Football and Men’s Basketball have won a combined one national title in the past 48 years.
USC fans will certainly be celebrating another year of their crosstown rival’s misery continuing.
