Northeastern guard Rashad King enters NCAA transfer portal
Northeastern guard Rashad King entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. King spent three seasons at the school.
King averaged 18.5 points per game this year for Northeastern. It was a vast jump from 8.3 points per game last season.
Over the course of his career, King steadily improved. He had career highs across the board in 2024-25, also averaging 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game and shot 44.9% from the floor.

Rashad King enters NCAA transfer portal
King played for Evans High School, where he played in 24 games during the 2020-21 season. He was a starter for two years for Evans and was captain his second season.
King won First Team All-Conference and was All-State Honorable Mention. He also played AAU for AC Georgia where he averaged 15.8 points per game, shot 85% from the free throw line, seven rebounds per game, and five assists per game.
Originally, King signed with the Air Force Academy out of high school and was sent to Air Force Preparatory School prior to enrollment. He then committed to UMKC, but following a coaching change, re-opened his recruitment and signed with Northeastern in the Spring of 2022.
