Northern Kentucky transfer guard Marques Warrick committed to Missouri on Wednesday, he told On3’s Joe Tipton. He averaged nearly 20 points per game this past season before entering the transfer portal.

Warrick was a first team All-Horizon League selection as a senior in 2023-24. He led NKU with 19.9 points per game while adding 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists on average, as well. Throughout his time with the Norse, Warrick was a prolific scorer and never scored less than 15.5 points per game over four years.

After entering the portal as a graduate transfer, Warrick became the No. 88 overall player and the No. 17-ranked point guard in the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings. Mizzou was one of his top five schools, his agent told On3, and he chose the Tigers over Cincinnati, Penn State, Seton Hall and USC.

This past season, Perkins played and started in all 34 of Iowa’s games. He averaged a career-best 14.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 43.2% from the field and 29.9% from beyond the arc.

Iowa’s season came to an end in the second round of the NIT. In the loss, Perkins recorded three points, four rebounds and three assists while shooting 1-5 from the floor. In four seasons at Iowa, Perkins averaged 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

UT Martin guard Jacob Crews also announced his commitment to Missouri during this cycle, giving the Tigers three big-time additions from the transfer portal. He is currently the No. 81 overall player in the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings after an impressive year in 2023-24.

This past season, Crews averaged 19.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 41.4% from beyond the arc. For his efforts, Crews was named an All-OVC First Team member and selected for the OVC All-Newcomer Team.

Missouri is looking to bounce back from a rough second season under Dennis Gates. The Tigers didn’t win a single game in SEC play, finishing with an 0-18 conference record and lost in the first round of the conference tournament. So far, Gates has been active in the portal, and Warrick is Mizzou’s third transfer addition so far this cycle.
