Leigh Evans is a lifelong Hoosier and has served as editor and publisher of HickoryHusker.com since 1998. He is also the author of the HickoryHusker Book of Indiana High School Basketball Records - The only source for the all-time best performances for team and individual records for both tourney and regular season games. Its database is now housed for reference in the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Evans is a graduate of Indiana State University, Vincennes University, and Castle High School. He is also a 35-year middle school history teacher and winner of the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s Virgil Sweet Award for contributions to Indiana basketball.
