A VHSL Hall of Fame inductee, Robert Anderson worked for 44 years in Virginia as a sports writer, most recently as the prep sports editor at The Roanoke Time before retiring in June 2022. He has won multiple Virginia Press Association awards for sports writing portfolio and has been honored nationally by The Associated Press Sports Editors.
