JQ rules out Arkansas

Cal must have been the dude who bypassed his parents.
Could it be possible that Popes visit had something to do with this?
Maybe getting kids to follow him from Memphis to UK after great success at Memphis was easier than getting them to follow him from UK to Arkansas after underperforming at UK...
Would be awesome if true
Interesting that this comes out just after meeting with Pope. I wouldn't mind this guy backing up
Williams and Osobor but I wouldn't want him at the cost of losing Great.

So, even at TWICE THE NIL offered by the swine flu fanatics, as we're reliably informed, he won't go to Hooterville?

I know this may sound a bit immature but, "Take that Cal!"
Yeah but it's Louisville. Who the "bleep" really wants to go there?
UK + Cal = JQ
Ark + Cal = No JQ
That checks out.

Sounds like Memphis Louisville & Cats.

Is it strange that I don’t want him?
A huge NIL $ for a 16 year old whose value is likely in 2nd year, which we’d have to bid for again.

I think Torres stated that JQ has ties with Hart.

That one has got to sting. I never thought the whole class was going to be onboard with following Cal to Arkansas.
Hell yeah. Hart already paying off.
yeah out of all of them he was definitely the prize
Would absolutely love to retain him. He and Osobor would be a killer combo in the frontcourt
Don’t be too happy. Still good chance he ends up at Louisville
Looks like he beats 30yr olds up for fun. If he can fit Pope’s plan bring him in.
would be cool to see Pope get him to UK.
It’s also a different time where players available this late can wind up in a bidding war.
JQ approaches Cal and informs him the price for a recommitment has gone up a lot after he opened his recruitment up wide and entertained the highest offer.
Cal probably doesn’t want to pay even if he does have near unlimited funds, on the principles of this kid committed to me now he’s borderline extorting me. In a way I feel for Cal on this one.
I think Knox was only free/original price because Payne took the job at Arkansas.
I wonder when it’s going to set in to these loud obnoxious Arkansas fans that they’re not going to be good. They’re all over Twitter bragging about and worshipping their billionaires and this washed up, hand me down coach they just inherited.
So JQ wasn't intersted in doubling his money, or he just didn't trust Cal, Jones, or the chicken man! LOL
It’s the affiliation with Jerry Jones and the ****** cowboys
Well, at least it’s a shot to Cal’s ego which is fun.
If cal wants to stand on morals that he doesn't have ill be happy to let him die on that sword
UK makes the difference!!!!UK + Cal = JQ
Ark + Cal = No JQ
That checks out.
Well this is a pretty interesting damn development.
He won't be the last. Not every kid is going to want the stain of dirty recruiting on them. Wish everyone would take a deep breath and enjoy every minute of the Pope era.
No way UK lands him....Arky will just double his NIL. This kid could be making more than Ohtani after the bidding wars are over.
