Not sure why we are at all time highs. The Mag 7 and AI stocks tend to be doing really well. The rest of the economy is so-so.

Stock valuations right now are elevated compared to historical norms.

Inflation, while much lower than the Democratic presidency, is still at 3%. Could be a contributor to asset values being elevated as one of the best places to hide during inflation are equities.

I also think the “fed put” has something to do with it. The last couple of times the market has crashed or corrected severely, the fed has stepped
In to bail out the market. People expect that asset prices are supported but the government and thus the risk to stocks is lower. (Theoretically)

AI is going to be a game changer, lots of disruption and growth in the future.

all of these things and more contribute to a stock market trading at levels elevated from historical norms. Personally I think it has more room to run.

Whether you agree with what Trump is doing or not, from a macro view of America First, that probably means his policies are designed to increase the wealth of our country and that will be reflected in the stock market and our economy.

I am an All In Trump and MAGA guy however there are concerns from me about the stubborn inflation, huge rise in cost of living, etc

A lot of the stubborn inflation can be attributed to the time lag of changing inertia . Policies and forces put into effect 2 years ago have to be flushed out the economy before the new policies I agree with start to impact the day to day life of Americans

Most people look at a policy and say its not working after a week when the old policies are still affecting for example the economy.

On the crime in America it has been exasperated by the huge Biden open borders where now we have state liberal insurrectional folks who don’t want to follow US passed laws but want to have laws for themselves without regard to Federal Laws.

It will again take years to flush the criminals out of America . Then theres the cartels and China. Again such as ignoring South America has to addressed and flush out criminals and China will take years.

Then theres the supply chain issue. Again it will take years to flush and correct the problems.

I 100% believe Trump and the Maga policies are spot on long term.

The real hoot is the complaining about building a ballroom. Dam people we are the US the most powerful nation in the world has to set ip tents in the mud and have state events in the rain and mud.

I love the idea to build a BIG BEAUTIFUL BALLROOM

OK I had my say and hopefully we can eliminate this huge runup and have some price deflation on living expenses for the short term.

Otherwise I see a Truly Golden Age for Americans

67% of everyday Americans live paycheck to paycheck so the partisan smoke you blow up their asses won't help the average American in the Trump economy.

I can see you know nothing about breadlines.

In Lower South Carolina Counties Orangeburg, Dorchester, Berkley and Charleston along with many more have almost weekly distributions of food boxes usually coordinated with Town Halls

Been going on for a few years

Feel not as ignorant and more informed

You don’t have to THANK ME for enlightening you

More dependency and national debt through public handouts that waste trillions and don’t fix the problem

Clear every illegal immigrant out of America is a first step

Then enforce criminal laws with cash bails and lock them up if a crime is committed

The stock market is overvalued and is due for a correction. The only question is when that will happen.

The trailing P/E ratio on the S&P 500:
23 on 11/1/23
29 on 11/1/24
31 on 10/24/25

That means stock prices are growing faster than company profits and that can only happen for so long. The good news for the stock market is that interest rates are likely coming down which could help keep prices high for a while longer.

I think inflation will gradually decline. It was fueled by a ton of government spending and large wage increases. Those things aren't done but they're gradually slowing. Tariffs have also been a factor but they don't grow over time. Once a 15% tariff is baked in that's it.

There are long lines for free food every year when they do fundraisers for the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Every year they argue that the need has never been greater.

The same thing happens on National Donut Day when people line up for free donuts. Or when people line up for free sliders from Dave's Fried Chicken.

BTW Medias Tough is extreme left with less objectivity than MSNBC. And it's the dems who have shut the government down.

Dude , just because Meidas Touch is a left-leaning channel doesn't mean it can't be trusted. These three brothers are extremely decent guys who love our country and for the record, they have the Number 1 ranked Youtube channel, crushing FoxNews and consistently ahead of Joe Rogan as well. We don't need an explanation to tell us who they are.

I’m not sure the stock market has been a very good indicator of economic health for a while now. Outside of the true blue chips, it feels like much of the market has just become a giant pump and dump for tech bros and inside the blue chips, a small amount of investment banks are amassing a tremendous amount of ownership in American corporations.

At some point the AI bubble will burst and we’ll have a correction.

yes, a correction is always on the horizon. "At some point we'll have a correction." you can make that statement at any time, and you'll be correct 100% of the time.

But I was told the tariffs would destroy the market and the economy. I'm just curious why it hasn't happened. So far ITT, none of the libs have enlightened me as to why. Also wondering why the price of gas is so low, but I guess that's a different topic.

Much more money is lost waiting for the correction than is actually made in the correction. Don’t know who said that, Peter lynch I think, but it’s true.

The correction does not have to come, profits can grow to meet expectations and that’s what a lot of people are betting on with AI.

Will it live up to the hype? No one knows and anyone pretending to know is just guessing. It’s the biggest technological invention in my lifetime, but that doesn’t mean automatically making money.

Why was the little guy not swayed when the stock market broke record after record under Biden? That's the question you need to answer now that you're forecasting that it could cause Democrats to lose the House, smooth brain.

There was a substantial pullback that started two weeks ago and ended around Tuesday last week. Many of the “AI” stocks I’m sure that are being referenced here got hit hard…but they were back by close Friday mostly. There’s a lot going on with automation and robotics tied to AI that I’m seeing more and more in my work. I don’t think this is a bubble. It’s more likely we see some type of UBI before AI stalwart stocks become irrelevant in my opinion, I think this is just starting.

I kind of agree with the premise that all the nations of the world put tariffs on us with apparently no ill effects. So if tariffs are not adversely impacting them and supposedly are very beneficial for them then it begets the question why is the US putting tariffs in place a problem. Tariffs good for them bad for US

Look at the independent media bias charts.
Center - Forbes, The Hill, Market Watch
Left - CNN, Bloomberg, Yahoo
Far Left - Mother Jones, Daily Beast. MSNBC
Even Further Left - TYT, Medias Touch
Sure, they have a perspective and they promote Democratic values but they spend a large amount of time debunking the lies and misinformation being put out on FoxNews and other conservative outlets. They show bias in what they choose to talk about but that doesn't mean they're wholly untrustworthy.

My question for you is why do you not point out the bias in all the tweets from Insurrection Barbie, Catturd, DC Draino and the like, that all the board magas splatter the board with?

I agree that the market is overpriced and is due for a correction. I disagree that it's just a pump and dump for tech companies and blue chips.

Average annual returns for past 10 years (non tech):
Waste Mgmt 17%
ADP 14%
Johnson & Johnson 10%
Chevron 10%
Southern Company 17%

Now look at the SPDR Midcap 400 (not blue chip). 10 years ago it traded at $266 and today it's over $600.

Economic health is difficult to define. I certainly understand that it's difficult for a lot of people to afford housing, utilities, childcare, and healthcare these days but that doesn't mean that companies are failing and jobs aren't available. The stock market isn't the solution to everybody's problems but a healthy stock market is an indication that companies are doing well. That's a good thing.

People vote for one party over the other for a variety of reasons. Some little guys vote for things like religion, gun rights, DEI, or abortion but most vote their pocket book. IMO Trump wasn't reelected because people liked him as much as they thought Harris was a bad candidate.

A republican has a good chance in 2028 if the economy is good and a strong stock market is a big part of that. The wealth effect means more people fix up their homes or buy vacation homes. More people take vacations or buy a boat. A stock market crash would make people feel less secure. Contractors, hotel workers, boat builders, etc would all suffer. Democrat politicians would like to see the stock market and economy weaken because that helps their chances. Republicans would do the same thing if the show was on the other foot. Politics sucks.

ah, so you hit the question folks on the left seem to always forget. The strength of the stock markets is the strength of our retirement system be it 401s, IRA,s , state pensions, company pensions etc. They always want to tax corporations meaning lower earnings, which leads to lower stock prices and reduced retirement benefits. To me it just seems as if they either should have taken an economics class, or if they decide, they should have paid attention.

No and all this noise is besides the easy point I was making. The stock market was breaking records under Biden as well but that had nothing to do with the way the 67% voted and it won't make a difference now. This shouldn't be that hard to understand.
