The officials adjusted the clock to 9 seconds before the snap. There's no logical explanation for putting the additional second back on. What an absolute screwjob. I feel terrible for the Western Michigan kids.

Their story is that the cameras are synced with each other. So we’re seeing a camera on the play and a camera on the stadium clock? If that’s not the stadium clock in their video, where is that secret clock. And how could the stadium clock be out of sync with the broadcast clock since they had just reset the broadcast clock to 9 seconds… meaning a full nine seconds. The stadium clock or that secret clock would have had to read 10 seconds at the start of that play for them to be out of sync.
