Our tv is dying so we are in the market for a new one.

We are looking at 75 inch ones, we used it for our main TV watching/video game playing.

Im really excited about gta6 coming out next month and will be playing it a lot.

So what brand, features and other things should we be looking at? Any recommendations are appreciated. We are looking at anything under $1000

Most smart TVs have the same features at this point. I like Samsung and Sony TVs the most.
My 75 inch Samsung has been awesome and it’s five years old now. Can’t tell it’s not brand new. I got the three year warranty but didn’t need to use it. I’d still recommend at minimum an extra three years. Anyway, I paid under $700.00 and still believe they’re around there. Highly recommend. I’m sure there’s better quality but I can’t tell the difference between my parents HD and mine and they paid a lot more. Hope that helps.

Buying TVs is easy these days. Don’t get the cheapest one. You’ll pay half as much as I did for my first 50” plasma, and it will be at least 4x as good. You can get a perfectly fine 75” for under $300. Best Buy has an open box Samsung for $231. Spend $600 and you will have a damned fine tv.

I bought a 75 inch Samsung about 3 years ago and it's a piece of shyyyte. I have to unplug it every other day just to reset it.

I bought a new TV 2 years ago. Samsung 75”. I talked to a guy that installs TV’s and sound systems for a living. He told me to get the highest “refresh rate”. It cost about $400 more for that. But still around $1000.

I don’t know if it really made a difference but it’s been a great TV for 2 years.

I don’t buy extended warranty on anything so I didn’t get that.

I have a bunch of TCL mini led TVs from 40in to 98in. Been happy with them and a reasonable price point..

Save the money and get a Hysense. It's all I've bought for the last few years. Great quality and cheap!

How far is your TV going to be from where you’re viewing it? If it’s on the closer side you can get a 55 inch oled for roughly $1000.

For under a 1000....you not going to see that big a difference in them... You need to get into the 1500 and up range to start seeing the high end stuff... Find something on sale and you will be good... Save the extra money and get a good sound bar.
100% got to have a good surround sound. Minimum a sound bar but the 5.1 and 7.1 systems are so cheap and makes a thousand percent difference. Love feeling like I’m in a theater during Kentucky on the Tv. 😆. I’d watch these Cats on a 12 inch black and white and go crazy. lol.

I’m was always a big Samsung fan in the past but the virtual assistant bixby is worse that windows 3.1, absolutely worthless.

We moved and I had to buy all new TVs 3 years ago. Went with 2 TCLs and a Sony. The upstairs TCL sucks *** and always messes up and needs reset, the downstairs TCL has been great. The Sony has been good, and the 6 year old Vizio we brought from old house still works great. I cant tell the difference between the expensive Sony or the TCL.
