and we can't score. TTech is in question.
But but but we have SHOWTIME LEBBY? I'll say it again we currently have SIX coaches or support/analysts on the staff with head college coaching experience at least at one school (3 have been head coaches at multiple places) and we can't get one person to get through coach mouth breathers thick skull to take points when you can with a kicker who is the all time scoring leader in MSU hx? He hasn't taken a kick in 2 games, TWO 17ing games!!!!! How many times have we been in his range and decided to go for it on 4th down?

Would you really feel any better if we’d have lost to LSU. 31-6?

There are reasons they are “former head coaches.” What’s worse is they are all more qualified to be head coach than our Village Idiot

I hope we can win but of course we won’t with Billy pucket. He’s a cool guy who plays hard. But he isn’t good at quarterback
In the sec at Mississippi state.

Arnette should be let go at the very least, duh.
he never should be here but Lebby can’t recruit players OR coaches cuz he lazy.

History North Dakota states head coach to coaches and let Lebby (a heck of a O coordinator) coach the friggen offense .

A he good head coach/recruiter + Lebby/K1 healthy = playoffs

TN Tech is a Top 15 FCS team so it’s not totally out of the question we could have trouble based on how the last few weeks have looked.
Oh dear Lord. If we lost to them. I better not hear one single Lebby bird chipping " we gotta let this play out"

It's sad we are in year 3 and the gauge for not firing a coach is if we beat Vandy or not. We shouldn't have those expectations as a fanbase. Some big time donor needs to put their foot down
I agree. But I know how the cigar boys and swan lake crowd thinks

Just thinking the same thing. Beating Vandy and Tenn Tech at home and we will pay you millions just to hang around and keep mailing it in.

Talked with a big donor this weekend. He says many are pissed - not because we are losing, and not because Kimario is hurt. He was visibly frustrated about the lack of any explanation as to how in TF (his words, but he used the real ones) we don't have a backup qb. He was not nearly as mad about not having one, as he was about the lack of any coherent explanation as to why. As he put it, "Don't f'ing ask me for money to fill out the qb room, and then refuse to explain to me or the fanbase why the qb room we paid for is somehow worse than a walk-on..." If they are hurt, so be it, but where in TF are the guys we paid for?" He went on to discuss, as most of us have, if it was possible that they actually look worse than Puckett, and even if they did, Lebby would have looked better if he had just played them instead, even if we still lost because no one would be sitting here asking why he didn't play a walk-on (well maybe on Sixpack they would have!).

On the bright side, at least they are PO'd about some of the same things we are.

He cannot recruit. We have ONE player that single-handedly has kept JL in contention for keeping his job but was not recruited by him. Since that player has been knocked out we are 0-3, dropped from scoring 40 a game to 7 and apparently forgot how to play defense.

Nothing personal but he neither a good recruiter nor a good coach. The only thing he has done is win the lottery with another guy's recruit. KT's injury has made this clear in ultra HD.

This is 1000% true. Well said my friend. He has to go. He can't recruit, he can't develop, he can't make in-game adjustments. Just a few of the plethora of problems with him as head coach.

The fact that Lebby has had multiple "biggest games of his career" is a huge problem at this point

Yes, it is. Its totally out of the 17ing question.
When you remember Maine and then recall Lebby's unique coaching ability and style, (UT either or both and UF from last season, and most recently OU) how can you rule out any game being a L?

Not really, no, but maybe at the half if it had been 21-9 instead of 21-0 we might have had some fight left.
I believe the first half should have had some FG attempts in that game. Maybe some points would light a spark, give a little confidence. 2nd half didn't get any better and at that point we had no choice but to go for it.

So, we've given up on beating Texas? Realistically, yes, but they've still got to play the game.

you're referencing a game that was 22 years ago under a different HC?

Career limiting move. Not wise to ask wealthy people to give you money for toys you need and you fail develop and maintain the expensive toys and start the walkon instead. Especially when the walkon helped you post a goose egg and then some garbage time points. Why would the check writers trust him with a future ask?

1. Did it happen? Sadly I sat there and watched it. Apologized to my toddler son for taking him.

2. Does Lebby make dubmass decisions in game? He's as stubborn as that hc was.

I don’t think we’re going to lose that game, TN Tech was good last year and got waxed by a bad Kentucky team. But you’ll have to forgive a lack of confidence in Billy Pucket paired with a falling apart defense.
Yeah. We’re not losing that game. And probably beat Vandy too.

The old Injun chiefs are still in charge and they 've been around way longer than 22 years
No disrespect or discredit to the IBG. But I think you and Ozark grossly understimate how gifted Croom was. And The Maine was his masterpiece (and his alone).

If he's a big donor, then he'd have known the backup has been hurt, so this whole thing is BS

He hasn’t been hurt much. He’s been on every depth chart, never listed as even questionable & dressed out for every game. That’s not an injured player, especially the dressed out part.

If we're getting beat badly, I would let Qb #2 and #3 get some playing time. If Pucket gets injured, what will we do then? That might also go well with some of the fans to see the other QBs on the field.

He is. And all I can tell you is that his frustration was clearly more with the lack of any explanation. And BTW, Lebby didn't say he was ever injured. He said he is the healthiest now that he's been. Which says absolutely nothing. Today I feel the healthiest I've been, which doesn't meant that I was injured yesterday. It just means that I feel better today than I did yesterday - even though I felt fine yesterday. Words matter. Listen to what he actually said.
