I agree he hasn't won the big games, but he's objectively been an elite, high-level QB for most of his career. College and pro.

He's in the HOF with certainty, IMO.

Plus he's won a lot of folks money in fantasy football over the years 🤑

Not overrated, but his star is fading. Super talented player reliant on his legs to be special, legs are often the first things to go.

I don't think Jayden Daniels lasts in the NFL. He's built like a shooting guard and loves to run and take hits.

So

Lamar has played 9 seasons 3 out of 9) but Josh has only played 8? You're trying too hard. 2x League MVP, 3x first team all-pro, 4 Pro Bowls.
Follow me here, if Lamar is out for this season, it is complete.
That makes 9.
When the season ends, that will make 9 for Josh.
Simple really.

He may have performed as well as some have liked, but no way is he the most overrated. A couple of years ago he was the premier running QB in the league.

Started him today over Cousins..... Lost... Also started the raider WR that had been on a tear....2 20 point games back to back.... He got 1 target and zero points.... This season has been horrible.

He’s great in regular season but you can’t win a superbowl with him as your QB. Now the injury bug is starting to get him. Once he takes a step back in athleticism he’s done for. Ravens should have done more to win with him in his prime. They had maybe a 3-4 year window.

Very rare elite talent. Especially in CFB. There was just no game plan for what he could do and did.

Has had a great NFL career.

Great play off success has eluded him and the injuries were always going to catch up with him via the way he plays.

Running takes its toll naturally then the hits that come along as a result…

I hate UL as much as anyone but Lamar is a player. He's probably not the best pure QB but a man with that kind of athletic ability is special.

However for the future Lamar's getting older by professional standards too.and the first thing to go is pure raw athleticism It was 2016 when UK and SJ beat them. He's getting old for someone who relies on athletic ability above all. He really needs to refine his passing ability and pocket IQ because he will need it in the future.

Not most overrated, hes got some special talent that keeps him relevant.. but man, hes got a lot of Kyler Murray in him, and now that hes older, getting banged up, and losing some of that magic with his legs.. the weaknesses are glaring.

I think his decline is going to be stark and fast. I mean we are watching it now. Crazy to think at one point people thought he was better than Josh Allen. I guess a few years ago you could make thay argument, but I always sort of side-eyed Lamar's ability to be a QB, IF his legs are kept in check and hes stuck in the pocket.
