    It really is a big game for Leb. If he is such an offensive genius or whatever he should absolutely be able to put points on the board even without KT and Fluff. Make it a damn game, for goodness sake.

    Even if he does play he will probably be quite limited - probably no scrambling or darting through a crease in the pocket for a quick 15 yard pickup. Once that threat is gone they can pins their ears back and “get after him.”

    I will be really surprised if one or neither of them play. I think would have heard if the injuries were more serious in nature. Now, whether KT is mobile and can run is a different question and, perhaps, more important. If he is not a threat to run and LUS knows it I think we are toast.

    If KT and FB are not healthy our win projections go from 7-9 down to 5-7, something like that. Oklahoma Vandy and Auburn were “wins” in my book but may now be dogfights. If you take any of the 3 prongs out of our offense and it change everything in a major way.

    That would have been a different game this past weekend if we were healthy on the offense side of the ball. If KY can’t run it then the D doesn’t have to spy him or even worry about it, allowing the defense to get more exotic with its blitz packages if they know he won’t tuck and run. Otherwise...

    The run can setup the pass if you can effectively run it on anyone. If you are running it down their throat then the D will obviously have to commit resources to slowing it down. Likewise, the pass can setup the run if you show that you can sling it effectively. For us, to be really effective...
