Basketball...The lineup I'd use to start the season

Starting 3 guards leaves a very thin bench. Williams may grow into the starting lineup but right now it is better to ease him into games where he can watch the first few minutes

BB: UK gets the win, What are people saying?

Said it previously and some took offense to it, but I still do not like the guards. Williams has been a better than advertised add, but Wilkins/Diallo are who they are. They will each have some really good games but as a whole, better guard play is needed.

FB: Where does UK Football land in the first CFP Rankings next Tuesday?

I question whether or not the team is ranked in the top 12. By Kentucky standards this is a great season, but in reality, there is only 1 win against a ranked opponent and that was by 1 point in OT, at home.

Why would the media respect Pope when a majority of the fan base doesn’t..

    McBride at the 5

I feel the same way. Use the exhibition to try different lineups against unknown competitors. I know some people think it matters to win these games but it is better to see what works and what doesn’t.

    Kentucky Texas Tech Game Thread

Exhibition games are fun. Fans want the win, while coaches want to see different things- lineups, transition, certain plays.

Is the future of the UL-UK football game doomed?

If the Louisville game was replaced, the most likely opponent would end up being Indiana during rivalry week.

How much NBA talent does this team have? Specifically First Round talent?

Just to be clear about Moreno: Everyone watched the game against Little Rock. A lot of people watched the Louisville game against Kansas. Who would you rather have - the Louisville freshman Ekezy or Moreno?

How much NBA talent does this team have? Specifically First Round talent?

There is one player with first round possibility- Moreno. His draft depends on his ability to shoot the ball beyond the paint consistently. Everyone else is a second round or non-draft pick.

    UL vs KU

What do I know, I was called a troll earlier.

    UL vs KU

Every game takes on a different personality once the ball is tipped off. If you compared Louisville against Kansas to Kentucky against Little Rock, yes, that Louisville team should win pretty handily. But Kentucky may look much better against a better team in Texas Tech. And maybe that version...

Stein to Texas Rumors Already Starting - Yahoo

What? On the Will Stein note, I expect Stein to be Texas's #1 target as well. The school has put out feelers to Lanning, Cristobal, Chesney and Stein. Stein so far is the only one to display real interest in the job. Things could move quickly in Austin." I do not see it a real possibility. Why...

UK has beaten the Preseason #8, #10 and #11

Just goes to show how preseason polls are meaningless. There really should not be any belief in rankings until several games in. The flip of projections is unreal.
