    Better Career, Relf or Archie?

tells me that you recognize the legend of Archie. Why else do it? Archie will still be Archie in a yr, and Relf will be "oh yeah that guy that played Qb for Mississippi" in the National media. Archie a *****? Gotta love message boards where a guy can sit back and call a guy, who is widely...

Buy/Sell You think 7-6 was a "Great Season" as Mullen claims...

Ya'll had how many returning starters? A returning Sr 1000 yd rusher + a Sr Qb returning starter. Almost your entire receiving corps returned. An AA D-tackle. Almost all of your D-backs returned. Sheesh, if that doesn't get you a win in the SEC W outside of OM, you have to wonder what will.

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

The momentum can swing quickly. Remember 2008, you guys were coming off your 7 out of 8 losing seasons and a 45-0 beatdown by in-state rival. Ya'll made a good hire and recovered quickly. We'll see if we do the same

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

No SEC caliber QB - ya'll didn't have one this yr. Ya'll did ok No returning RB's - Scott hopefully returns. Hopefully a recruit or two steps up. Much like Ballard did for ya'll. O Line is terrible - we'll see about this...don't know, but probably true. Spread O should help. Weak Ol + Pro-style...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

You guys speculate that a guy who has never played a down of SEC football will improve your D-line, but will argue that a yr's experience + an entire off-season won't make a difference for the rs and/ or true freshmen that started on our defense last yr. Take CJ for example, he has never been...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

If our juco guys turn out to be good... Our back-up tailbacks are as good as our starter.... We are reloading on D after losing NFL talent like Cox and Banks.... If Nickoe is the same player when he returns from major injury....

Where do the others you didn't reference say they attended school?

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

but there ain't but one way to turn things around and that's by recruiting well. Last yr was a good start, and surprisingly this yrs class will turn out ok. It's always fun to come on here when ya'll think ya'll have lost a recruit like Ward to us (even though it hasn't happened). Comments like...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

Oher - very highly ranked Hardy - highly ranked freak P Jerry - can't remember J Jerry - can't remember Eli - very highly ranked Willis - 2 star Wallace - 2 star Ben Jarvus Green Ellis - don't know J Sanford - 3 star, I think Dexter - 3 star Damn we got some stars in the NFL! To answer your...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

Wayne Dorsey was the #1 ranked Juco player in the Nation when we signed him. He had offers from everyone in the country. If you guys only knew how much Yancy laughs at you, you wouldn't give him so much credit. It's funny to watch, whenever ya'll sign a highly ranked player then he's legit; when...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

Like I said lb play was solid, not spectacular. Teams double-teaming Cox had a lot to do what that

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

I guess anything could happen, but you don't get better by losing great players. Using your example, ya'll didn't get better at D-end by losing McPhee. It just so happened that Cox developed in to a dominant DT so the loss wasn't as noticeable. The question is "do you have another McPhee / Cox...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

I suppose anything COULD happen, but its not likely. By the way, if you really are a former coach, you know that having a dominant D-tackle can make solid linebackers look great. Ya'll are solid at linebacker, nothing special. White and KJ were special. If they had been playing behind this yr's...

who is gonna replace Fletcher Cox now that he is gone

it's MUCH easier to replace a good Rb than a dominant D lineman
