Football Banner County and HTRS have canceled remainder of their seasons

Weeping Water is also forfeiting to juggernaut Lawrence-Nelson. Weeping Water is no slouch, playing East Butler and Sacred Heart decently close. Unsure about the week after playing 5-2 Deshler at home.

Games of the Week Predictions - Week 8

The biggest difference is Aquinas isn't near as big up front as Shelby is. Aquinas lacks that "all-star/do it all guy" that many other teams have. Will be a physical and chippy game for sure, no one wants to lose to an in-county rival. Aquinas is still "unproven" having not beating a team with a...

    D2 Top teams

He only played defense tonight. I went and watched the game. He played outstanding on defense with two interceptions. He almost wasn’t missed on offense. Eickmeier is the GUY. For being undersized he sure makes up for it with his hard running. I’ve watched him the last few years and I’m...

Brody Hubl for Hitchcock County is showing a lot of grit. He can barely jog and is breaking off 20+ yard carries. Somehow 0-6 Perkins in a shootout with 5-1 Hitchcock.

CEC Waivers - Opting down and still gaining Elgibility

What are peoples thoughts on these CEC Waivers? I understand the point: to grant teams a chance to play at a winning level. Which is fine, but why allow them to be eligible for the playoffs? What happens when these 11-man schools that opt down to 8-man have 3 or 4 bad, bad years, and the NSAA...

    Class B Football

Yes they do. 23 teams in B is abysmal. I get that its how it works for now, there is too much off a separation from top to bottom of B and A. I love to complain but not sure what a good solution would be. Everyone giving grief to 8-man going to 3 classes saying "participation trophies". Yet...

Games of the Week Predictions - Week 7

Couldn't agree more. If Vrbka isn't fully healthy it is a gamechanger. EB may have enough athletes to spread it wide and make plays in the open field.
