OT: Sale of timber on part recreational land before sale of entire place?

My 17 cents on the subject. I commonly deal with this type of situation (I'm a Forester, Real Estate Broker as well as Appraiser). Do you want a speedy transaction or would you like to net the most from the sale? I have run regressions on 100's of comparable timberland sales with various $...

OT: Mississippi/Southern Yellow Pine Timber Owners

They're not done yet either. Look for another greenfield mill announcement in the near future ;-).

    OT: Outdoor TVs

I bought a cheap TV and built a cabinet with wooden doors made out of cypress for mine. I have a bunch of left over silica packets in the box to help take moisture air when the doors are closed. It's been about a year and so far so good.

    DNF energy

The Auburn 2014 game was only time I have been in physical pain due to the decibel level, it was Krakatoa level noise.

It's Thanksgiving week...let's see your favorite turkey recipe

I made this recipe for the family (sisters & cousins) 2 thanksgivings back. The poor, dry, oven baked birds sacrifice was worthless next to my offering. Since then it's become the standard and most requested item. I will never fry or oven bake another bird.

    OT: Wireless Dog Fence Systems

Think a lot will depend on your dogs personality. It worked well on some of our more timid, less independent dogs. Larger stubborn dogs will be more of a challenge. We have a Husky, and we'd have to shave her neck so the collar would make contact. Then she figured out the collar, I watched...

    OT: Mortgage Refi Rates

I locked in a refi today at 2.125 for 15yr, no points with Citizens Bank in Hattiesburg. Quicken loans quoted me 2.8.

    Top ten worthy?

A little craziness from the end of the Hillcrest Hill game. (From FB) https://www.facebook.com/1646413047/posts/10214392120030612/?extid=RmVdrb60uCXfAoLi&d=n (apologies if this doesn’t imbed correctly)

Wishing we had AkSt WR Johnathan Adams in our team. Kids is beast lint.

    OT: Longmire on Netflix ..

I enjoyed all of Longmire and hated to end up the series. As others have suggested, Yellowstone & Ozark are good time killers. I also enjoyed Dexter (his 2nd or 3rd girl friend is a smoke show), and I'm currently binging on House of Cards.
