    Oregon fires OC

Our D is not sound right now. Talented Oregon will score lots this week after this change. NU must be ready to put up the points to have a chance against a proud and desperate opponent.

    Pathetic crowd today

I was watching from Côte d'Azur. Looked bad. They priced their entertainment product too high.

    NRF sell-out?

I stand by my statement. I was quite surprised to hear it described by a person pretty much at the highest level of NU athletics a couple summers ago . I don't live in US anymore but if I did paying a premium that flows into those guys pockets would not be for me.

    NRF sell-out?

All of the revenue flows to the Ryans. That's my understanding. That's a quirky deal. Ryan put up all the money but it certainly wasn't a gift when they get all the revenue. I do not believe NU is any better off in the $$ with this new stadium.

    PSU

Franklin is an ******* to be sure but to suggest he's not a good coach is idiotic.

'Cats are plus 6.5 at Illinois

Our defense has become bad and Illini are pretty good. I would give the points. That said I'm happy the 'Cats have exceeded my prediction of 3 wins this season.

    Cignetti extended

IU gives massive $$ and contract extension while on same day shutting down the print edition of student newspaper for including news. Cignetti seems Knight-like to me and we all know how those rednecks down there like that.

    Contrarian optimism

It was very easy to see that the talent assembly function of his job would be very suspect when he was given the permanent HC position almost 2 years ago. He did not and does not possess the credentials, skills (apparently) or gravitas (as gross of a concept as that is when talking about *******...

Clearly Oregon is Immune to Penalties

Watching the tape from the opposite point of view would undoubtedly reveal buckets of uncalled NU penalties. The very damaging NU penalties were so obvious as to be impossible not to call. Bad team and lots of stupid penalties.

    Give me Boe

That would have been a very ticky tack PI.

    Contrarian optimism

If this program wants to pretend to be a big boy then it better get some new leadership. Braun seems a good guy but honestly, can you see him assembling the level of talent that will allow for NU to be much more than the Washington Generals?

Clearly Oregon is Immune to Penalties

Zero penalties? Sign of a pretty good, disciplined team in addition to them being miles more talented than today's competition.

    Uniform - The Grapes!

That game was so much fun. Peay was a good man but it was pretty much a miracle that the NU powers that were at the the time (Weber but I think, very importantly Ken Kraft) got very lucky with the GB hire. Made for some of the best memories for many of us.
