    Why in the 17 am I getting….

I am on board with your view that there are way too many ads and donation requests, and that how donations are handled is terrible. I strongly disagree that the system should instead require people to only use their own money to run for office. That will create a massive and obvious issue of...

Those '02, '03, and '04 seasons with Timmy Chang slinging the ball all over the place were fun to watch.

I will never understand why some schools just kill themselves with marketing

Ha, this reminded me of a magnet we have on our fridge. Our oldest came back from college last May and slapped a magnet on our fridge. We were dumbfounded. After about 10 attempts to explain why its funny, we were no less dumbfounded. It is still on our fridge, despite her being back at...

I will never understand why some schools just kill themselves with marketing

This guy is a highly popular college sports influencer on TikTok?! 17 man, I just dont get any of it. Good for him, I guess- go profit while living your dream. Hadnt heard of him until this thread. Hot take- I doubt MTSU will experience measurable financial harm from 'GFed' leaving the game...

OT: Are you prepared for emergencies, such as the grid goes down?

Not prepared. Not in the least. Almost nobody is actually prepared for a permanent(or even long term) grid shutdown because others would just take their resources. Preppers who are alone would be some of the first to be targeted because they are alone and easier to overpower.

Ernie Johnson hanging up the bowtie

I am glad he is not retiring but 'just cutting back' from all the various work he does. The guy is a damn institution and it is great to hear he is going to spend more time on his health and family. He is the best sports studio host that I can think of and I have always enjoyed his ability...

BIG voluntarily caps school NIL at $49 MM

Not interested enough to search for why- $49MM was selected but not $50MM? What...is $50MM just outlandish and unjustifiable?! How does the cap move year to year with inflation? COLA is a real need...even for millionaire teenagers. <--typing that made me throw up a little bit.

Your terrible take reminded me of this quote. It is a line that I still occasionally say as a joke over 25 years later, but hopefully your terrible take dies way sooner.
