Looks like Cross is opting out of Liberty Bowl

If a third option existed in that situation where you could purchase something that eliminated the fear of losing that extra money and allowed you to work on the project knowing you were not going to lose that money as it does in this particular situation then that would be the logical choice...

Looks like Cross is opting out of Liberty Bowl

Not necessarily. Insurance is a business who bet that nothing bad will happen to you and you pay premiums believing it might and you're not willing to take the risk. If you have a million dollar home but you don't want to spend the extra $1200 a year to insure it for that much and instead insure...

Looks like Cross is opting out of Liberty Bowl

I had not thought of that and freely admit I stand corrected. I'm not sure what a policy like that would cost but I would think in some cases even the university may be willing to foot the bill if the premiums aren't ridiculous and it allows them to keep a key player at a important position. In...

Looks like Cross is opting out of Liberty Bowl

By opting out they are essentially saying they've quit the team which I assume gives them rights to hire agents and get all their financial ducks in a row in anticipation for the draft. From that standpoint it makes perfect sense because beating Texas Tech isn't worth the risk of losing 20 or 30...

    State podcasts

"Rosebowl" and his never ending need to remind us all that he was once a cool tough drug addict before he became the strong sensitive journalist he is now is a total embarrassment to the MSU sports program. Don't believe me? Go read his latest post on the OM247 message board about his past and...

    A Little Tech info

I did the same in that area back in the 80's for Delta, Seis Pro and Seis X. In my younger days when I was trying to decide what to do with my life and education. Nothing puts your future into perspective quite like swinging a machete for a seismograph company in the Summer or detonating...

    Bama v UGA

What's really kind of amazing is the fact that had Saban stayed at Michigan State the Big Ten would have become what the SEC is today. Had he stayed at LSU then LSU would be what Alabama is today. I cannot really express my pure hatred for alabama based completely on their fanbase, but Nick...

Am I the only one disappointed with Liberty Bowl?

Memphis is Jackson on steroids but the Liberty Bowl is not located in the worst part of Memphis. Far from it. Some of the wealthiest people in Memphis live right behind the Liberty Bowl and the section many consider to be the bad section has been gentrified at an amazing rate over the past few...

Am I the only one disappointed with Liberty Bowl?

That is such BS. I lived in Chickasaw Gardens right behind the Liberty Bowl for 6 years and never heard of anyone having any problems other than getting beat by Memphis

    Serious question about recruiting

They can only put 11 players on the field at a time. God forgive me for the punishment i'm about to take, but Texas A&M and yes Ole Miss managed to beat those unbeatable Alabama teams twice with much lesser classes somehow
