    I will back track just a bit on the original post. C-2, D-1, D-2 could be combined into two classes to improve on the overall competitiveness of each class. It would help to remedy subdistrict champions that barely have a winning record or in some cases below 50% winning percentage.

    The number of schools in each class and enrollment restrictions are always going to be debatable but, in my opinion, the one thing that needs fixed is a 9-game regular season schedule for everyone and a maximum of 16 teams to the playoff rounds.

    I've been a coach for over 40 years and I've been on both sides of the spectrum. It has absolutely nothing to do with "hurt feelings". Just no reason to "kick a dog when it's down".
