Where are you from? I grew up in a small town where uptown was called "Flopeye"

What is your name.? I am Johnny Wood. We moved to Great Falls in 1958 when I was 10 years old. My Dad was with JP Stevens. It was me, my older sister Sis, brother Oren and baby sister Charlotte. I graduated in 1967. Went to Fork Union Military Academy as a Postgraduate and then signed a football scholarship with Clemson.

Hey Johnny! Mike bankhead here. Closer to Oren and Charlotte‘s age than yours.

Think we met a few times down at Beaver Creek. Grew up with Hank and still pretty close.

Seen a few of your post and kind of thought you were local here somewhere. figured when I put the Flopeye name as my username it would give me away

I know who you are. Judy and I spent 30 years in Cola. raising our family. In 2005, we retired and moved to Black Mountain, NC where she was born and raised. We are blessed to live here. I have always loved the mountains of WNC. I have many fond memories of Wateree. How is Hank doing? I always liked him. It's a shame things turned out the way they did. Tell him I said hello.
