I know. I was taxed on the amount of business I did but other businesses were not taxed at such a high rate.I was just looking at our overall tax burden, not limiting it to the Feds. Not possible to do because there is always an angle for the politicians who are employed full time by the govt. Make them do it part time and we would be better represented. My comment was more academic than anything else
Not sure why you are so angry but I'm a good republican. My statement was abut the true realities of what the bottom 50% pay which is almost nothing but the govt tries to make it seem that they are the ones who pay for everything.
Yes there's always someone using an angle to complain Trump didn't do enough to help them. Back here on planet earth this will be a good start in the right direction for the United States.
Usually they find an angle to ***** and complain about everything Trump has done while pretending to support him. Instead of just thanking him for attempting to save the country.
Why so many of our fellow Americans look to government or expect government to supply needs, wants or desires they could otherwise better supply for themselves baffles me. I will go to my grave never understanding why so many of us are so willing to be taxed to death (literally) when so much of this government we're forced to pay for is of our own choosing but about as useless as tits on a boar hog!

Because it developed into that over the past many decades. It will take time to undo it. Unless we want a civil war. I'm not too excited about that route so here we are. Vote better going forward after Trump gets us headed in the right direction.
Agree. This bill while not perfect, is a good start on the road back towards fiscal sanity. It's insane to pay for medical care for illegals...especially since we're 30 something odd Trillion in debt! On the other hand, allowing Americans to keep more of what they earn means government doesn't get it to waste on more Sesame Street plays for Iranian grade school kids, or studying the mating habits of the African Tsetse fly!

I hope during reconciliation, the Senate tries to incorporate some of the DOGE spending reduction recommendations. I'm just stunned at how much waste, fraud, and abuse they found...and folks on the Left either didn't care or got mad at them just for pointing it all out!

The DOGE findings will be more helpful going forward as Trump and the Department Heads discover more. I get some don't want to hear that but it's reality. People should stay on top of it and not let go.
