Gee... we lost a game at Kentucky in Lexington. Who would have thought?

Just for the ***** and giggles, does anybody know what our record is in Lexington?

I couldn’t find our record in Lexington, but our overall record against Kentucky since 1950 is 19-89. We haven’t beaten them in the regular season since Billy Gillespie was coaching them, 2008 I think.

It won’t be for long. We should beat Vandy on Saturday and the the next three are tough but very winnable.

Hailstate.com has us 5 -52 all time away but I think that includes SEC tournament and NCAA Tournament games as well.

Didn’t we come back from 20 pts down against KY years ago and win? Maybe it was a tournament game, can’t remember.
I think you’re thinking of our home game against them in 2003. Kentucky started the game on a 20-0 run or something like that and we came back to win in overtime. That’s the game that Mario Austin of all people hit a 3-pointer in the final seconds to tie the game and send it to OT.

2002. And almost did something super similar in 2004 but lost on a buzzer beater that time.

We have had the rare fun game against them. Keeps us coming back.

Should blow the doors off Vandy. Will lose @ Flarda if we play like we did @ SC.

I'll be worried if we **** the bed versus Vandy. But, for the love of all that is holy, can we please beat Kentucky in Rupp soon. My mother in law gives my Kentucky grad wife and me her season tickets to the State game in Lexington for Christmas every year. Not once has State won...

2009, MSU beat UK @ Rupp, last time we won there. I was there with my son. Maybe 2 of 15 people in the whole place wearing maroon. Last night, we (4) were there and only saw a couple more, probably lowest maroon turnout ever. #weak

For the record, MSU beat UK in 2007, 2008 and the above mentioned 2009. 2021 in the SEC tourney too.

4-49 at UK. Rupp opened in the 76-77 season, so 2-31 in that bldg now.
