86 and sunny for kickoff. The last two weeks in the Jewel have been downright pleasurable, even, dare I say it, cool in the late evenings and mornings.

Hope it holds. If it does, all the complainers will be heartbroken to have to wear that maroon shirt.

"anything after 5 days is magic"

No way they can get anywhere near what the weather might by this far out. It may very well be sunny and warm but that's a pretty safe guess.

that have the freedom to even get to DWS and are complaining about wearing maroon... grow a set and stop complaining about the heat. I look forward to scooba and shutter's images because I'm 7000 miles from Starkvegas. Such is life when you wear a uniform. If I had the opportunity, I would gladly take your seat and wear all black so you could 17'ing sit on your couch in the air conditioning.

I have never understood this mentality.

1. It's a goshdamned football game in early September. It's going to be hot. Guess what? You're going to be hot wearing a white shirt, too, you imbecile, so why not wear maroon and show some freaking spirit? Our athletic department is finally doing its job and trying to inject some enthusiasm in the fan base and get some things going. Why ruin it because you might be 0.0001 degree cooler wearing a white shirt?

2. And on that note, when our athletic department doesn't request we wear a certain color, our school colors are maroon and white. Don't effing wear orange. Or pink. Or green. How hard a concept is this? Wear maroon. Wear white. Wear grey with some State something on it. It's not hard, folks. There are a bazillion MSU shirts out there for guys, kids and gals in every size and style imaginable. Why do you wear a green shirt???

I feel better now.

wear maroon.

People like you are what makes certain attempts look ******.

When other schools white out or black out or whatever out and you get full participation, it looks good. When we do it, we have only gotten 30% participation and we look like clowns. This is the only reason I'm glad its on the schedule some more people will know.

Aside from that, it has to be done early when its hot, because if you wait til its cold to do it, you have to compete with the overwhelming amount of camoflauge in our stadium.

We camo out the last 2 games of the year each season

I have yet to find a maroon one with the new logo that I actually like. All the ones I have found are that heavy cloth or striped or ugly as hell. Maybe I'll find one later. Also, I'm not going to spend $75 for a Polo or Under Armour shirt. I'll wear my new white one with the new logo and yall can kiss my ***.

This Senior meteorology major would say I wouldn't completely buy into a 10 day forecast. The GFS (Global Forecast System) model of these temperatures is ok out that far but like one of my early professors says: Past 3 days is magic lol..The computer models struggle picking up on atmospheric conditions past this..So in an easy explanation, it could be 86 but let me give you an example. We have been talking about tropical weather lately and actually how Tropical Storm Danny will affect our weather this weekend. This is a good example why that forecast can be wrong. One forecast that my Weather Forecasting I teacher told us had temps of 80s-90s in New Jersey 6-10 days out. They were saying to go to the beach and all. Actually the highs 6-10 days out only reached in the 50s. In eastern Asia, sometimes you can look at the patterns of weather there where a typhoon heads to the north along the eastern Asian coast and actually causes cooler air to surge southward. You can kind of (not always) predict the same type of scenario 6-10 days out for our eastern seaboard if you see this setup out there..And that is exactly what happened during that scenario..Something like that..Anyway computer models are not always accurate..Regardless it'll be hot but wear that maroon..Doesn't matter lol..As we get closer I should be able to do a forecast for you guys..

every day till gameday and get your fat *** out in the sunshine
or wear something with the old logo to the game.

I find it funny that you are so worried about HAVING TO WEAR the new logo but won't do as the school asks and just wear a freaking maroon shirt of any kind.

That was my only maroon shirt. Why would I waste money and go buy something with the old logo on it? That makes about as much sense as buying a Brett Favre Jets jersey right now. The school designed a new logo, so I'm going to wait to find a shirt I like with the new logo on it. Like I said, I'll buy one later that I like, but in the meantime, I'll wear my white shirt.

you can go to campus bookmart, and buy a cutter and buck maroon polo, that is the dry tech material or whatever the hell it is, new logo and all, for 35 bones.

...I've got a cheap solution: Buy a maroon polo thats not ACTUALLY a Polo. My maroon polo is a fake Lacoste I bout off Ebay like 3 years ago. 3 shirts for 50 bucks, suck my balls.

Oh yea, hit the treadmill fatass.
