I don't understand why people get upset about this, after all they are our rival. What else are we supposed to talk about?
The investigation stuff has run its coarse
we are playing South Alabama this week
People complaining about our game last week has run its course
We don't play a meaningful game for 3 or 4 weeks
Basketball season isn't for another few months, and we will suck
I could honestly care less if OM people think we are obsessed with them, and I would say that it is in our best interest to be obsessed with them. We recruit the same players, and compete against them in everything we do. Our success, ultimately is made easier with their demise. I could make a great argument that the reason that their football program is currently in the shape it is, is because they stopped caring about us and lost a sense of where their bread was buttered. Now that we have the upper hand, we can't afford to lose that perspective and make the same mistakes. Due to that, you can be embarrassed all day that we are obsessed with OM, but I would argue that, ultimately, it is a good thing and helps our program.
