The sooner they start blowing everyone out in football then coaches ADs and all will raise 4ELL till something is done. The worse they get beat the more they will draw for next year. Should be doing it in B-Ball . May change for the 2017 - 2021 realignment .Out of 100 counties in NC Forsyth is the only one that has no boundries is what I hear.
Big & mean but a first year varsity with no experence and I don't see the doing any damage this year I never even heard of the team they beat 50 to 22 last night. They beat Bishop 75 to 62. LOL

just reality my friend, this is the same team that gave up 65 points to Bishop, correct?
This game will not be close at all, Bishop was probably the worst team Murphy has played this season.
When wspprep begins getting the players. Robbinsville will get hammerd. But prep hasnt yet so robbinsville will do the hammering
Friday, in one thread you are wishing WSP good luck, now you are putting them down. Which way is it? Also, you are wrong, WSFCS is not the only school with no boundaries. More school systems than you know. Truth be known, just about every school system has ways around their boundaries, you know that! Also, nothing going to change for them in 2017 realignment except maybe what conference they play in.
I am totaly for the NW1A including WSPrep and you always look for a post I have to be not to your approval. I really give up. I am always for the NW1A but also see what is coming down the road . I just said you would do the hammering. But if wsprep ever gets tehe top players from forsyth county no 1a team will have a chance. Thats just reality. And typical NCHSAA bs. So no youve never faced the speed that could be brought to the table from this particular no boundry school.
Plymouth was alot faster than us and I dont see more speed mattering much. They can still be beat but i do argee that the State is a joke. In GA they make these teams add to there enrollment. A team with 400 would be 600 after X 1.5. Our state wants these schools to take over sports in NC.

As for the game at Big Oaks Stadium, it's going to be an atmosphere that the Phoenix have not yet played in, and can be somewhat intimidating for first timers who visit....
Have the Black Knights and Phoenix ever faced each other in any sport before this friday's meeting on the gridiron?

I respectfully disagree with you about WSP not playing in an intimidating atmosphere. I have been all through the SMC over the years and coming into Cardinal Stadium or Mt. Airy is the same kind of atmosphere. Biggest thing WSP will be shocked with is the lack of room on the visitor sideline. LOL IMO, Murphy and Swain is a tougher place to play from an intimidation standpoint. Not saying WSP is going to beat them just saying the environment will not be as a big of an issue as alot may think. Good luck to your Tigers on friday!

No slight meant or intended to Bear or Cards' fans, but was really talking about a playoff atmosphere that the Phoenix have not seen prior to this year...Agree that both your Cardinals and the Granite Bears have great fan support!
And agree that it is generally a little tight on the vistor's sidelines at Big Oaks, especially if you bring a big crowd, which may not be a problem for the Phoenix next friday?....It would, and will be a problem for either Rosman or Murphy when one of those teams makes the trip to Big Oaks Stadium for the 3rd round if the Black Knights prevail over the Phoenix!

As long as you have successful 4A programs, (West, East, Mt. Tabor and Reagan) the real football athletes will be going to them, not WSP. Exposure is so much greater at these schools. The big 4A's are always featured in the paper, on the Friday night highlights.
Not saying 1A schools don't get the exposure, but not in the big cities. Anytime the papers want a coach quote on a subject, they call one of the above 4. Not Prep, Atkins or Walkertown. The WSJ will usually have bigger write up on N. Davidson or Davie than these schools. Sorry, sorta of got off subject.

Will be plenty of room on visitors side, would be surprised if they brought 50 fans.
All I'm saying is that is not going to happen. Not sure where NCHSAA comes in. Heck, Atkins is a no boundary school 100% magnet, absolutely no community kids,but no one is fussing about them. Oh I forgot, they were everybody's homecoming and went 0-11.
A decade ago this site was up in arms about how Bishop would one day dominate 1A football. How's that argument working out? WS prep is no different. A talented middle school football player in the WS/Forsyth County school district doesn't chose Prep in order to compete against Atkins, Bishops, North Stokes, South Stokes etc.
I suppose the most intimidating thing about The Big Oaks stadium is the sign under the old scoreboard
Prep has six losses this year. 3 were to the top on the conf. East Surry, Walkertown and Mt Airy. The other 3 came against the powerhouse 3a -4a schools in forsythe county. Robbinsville will win but prep won't be intimidated.
