Can McCarthy keep finding an open Johnson?

I think they have to find success running. They don't want in a shootout.

Pity the poor referines. They don’t know who to favor.
So far, the refs have called a good, clean game. Michigan's illegal procedures were obvious even to Ray Charles and McCarthy was not "roughed up" on his tackle. Tom Brady may have been a Michigan Man, but McCarthy isn't going to get the same treatment like a Tom Brady yet.

I may end up getting jailed for this, but I didn’t even remember the game was on until I just read this thread. How dare me!!!

lol, I've been watching World Cup soccer and Women's Giant Slalom skiing. I knew the game was on -- just didn't think it was the sport that interested me the most at the time.

Again, they don’t know who to favor, so they favor no one.

OSU coaching staff has underwhelmed in the first half. Up 7-3, first and goal at the 10, they run it two times. On third and 5 (up 10-3) at UM 35, they run once and then throw to their TE. They have 3 stud WRs and a Stud QB and basically don't use them on critical plays....

On D, they run a zero blitz for no reason, McCarthy is not going to be able to march down the field passing....

Kind of reminds me of PSU-UM game, except in the reverse, UM has no business being in this game at this point...

“UM has no business being in the game at this point,” 100%. But, interestingly enough, my take is that OSU is not running the ball enough. The holes the OSU line is opening are such that Robert T Ironside would be averaging 6 per carry. Stroud is off, not as sharp as he needs to be. Great throw on the last TD, though.

Still the same: McCarthy is getting a hot hand now. Makes a big difference between success and sucky passes.
What you said about McCarthy being weak in 20+ yard passes, and now we see this? What should this tell us? Me, it says that Day is going back to last year’s defense. The level of talent in the OSU secondary, the players aren’t going to get beat this badly this constantly.

It doesn't make much sense except that Michigan saw something in OSU's middle coverage that they are exploiting to perfection in this half. Let's see if Day can adjust his defense to this new play.

OSU is starting to lose it's cool and it's focus now.... stupid penalties, (looking at you Harrison), and not executing plays like the first half.

Credit to Jim Harbaugh. He successfully turned around Michigan and has them at the absolute top in just a couple of years.

Think Franklin can take some notes on how that kind of turnaround happens?
