I watched little film on them and looked at there schedule I honestly think MA can't win without perfect game. ER looks good. Have to get to QB Wich MA is good at bc he want run but can sure sling it.

We (Polk) beat SW Randolph 29-14 ... (and left at least 14 points on the field )
and this years team is just OK .... nothing special. It probably means nothing but I think the usual top 1a teams will not have a big problem with ER.

That game could have easily been 50’s to 7, we could not move without getting a penalty. Even had three scorers called back in one drive. But that’s fine. Time will tell and overlooked is a good thing imo.

How’d you guys do in the playoffs? Not sure why you are so concerned about trashing ER when your 4A program is the annual whipping post for your 1A rival up the mountain. At least until you stopped playing them. ER may or may not win it all, but some on here are going to be surprised that we will be very competitive and will play teams tough.

Hey, you guys from Eastern Randolph, I for one, and Buzzcoach on this thread, pays you guys big time respect. In no text at any time have I done anything by be respectful of you guys. There are only two undefeated teams in 1A state wide. You guys are one of the two! From the Granite City comes tons of respect your way.

And I can tell you one other thing; if we are fortunate enough to come to your house in a couple of weeks and you wipe our nose, kick our butt, and send us home sore and bruised, I will be pulling for you when (and if) you play Tarboro.

Feel the same. Lots of great teams though. Next five weeks are going to be exciting whoever survives. Including who plays Tarboro, which should be another great game. Got to love it. Just fun times for these kids, coaches and communities.

Also had 200 yards in penalties. And at least 2 defensive TDs called back.

ER is really good this year,in fact I’d say scary good,they very easy would be a top contender in 2A this year most definitely,I think the only way to beat them is out score them,your not gonna stop them,just try and slow them down some

Talk about running up the score! Yes, Mt Airy score 75 points on Union Academy but only one player scored two TDs. The starters were out mid second qt, JV's played almost all 3rd and 4th qt.
Our #3, 5, 8 and 1 were not ALLOWED the opportunity to run up leader broad.
As Busscoach reported (I believe it was) that Dula racked up all of 21 yards on MT Airy.
East Randolph, have it against Draughn. Elkin was beat up, beat down and a lot of players were on the sideline hurt. Every one in the State knew it.

Not to hijack this thread, but just wanted to make sure everyone knows that Mount Airy hasn't ran the score up on anyone. The cheerleaders played the entire 4th quarter, and they all score most of those 75 points. It's not their fault Union couldn't be aggressive, be be aggressive. Also, Mount Airy has only allowed 18 points this, in case you didn't know...

Rumor was waaay back that the King went back home to Lee hot under the collar because a 57 Chevy in my family left a Plymouth looking sad in a 1/4 mile stretch...
Best part of that rumor was driver of 57 was only 14... 🤣

Could have been worse a principal in California apologized because their high school scored 106 points on a team in fact they even ran a two point conversion when it was 104-0. Their UCLA commit QB threw for 13 TD's .

For any Draughn fans looking to eat in Ramseur.......

We have the tasty Ramseur Country Diner. We also have a good burgers/shakes place called Shortstops. You want Mexican......we got Burrito Brothers.

If your in the mood for good Italian, there's the Mona Lisa. However, I must warn you.........that place stinks inside.

There's also a McDonald's, Bojangles, and Burger King for the less adventerous.

If you are going to eat in Ramseur eat at the Ramseur diner please. It’s really really good. Shortstops is good as well. The only two places meh. At the game should be chik f la sandwiches, fries etc.

It’s only 10 minutes past Ramseur exit on 421 and they could come back the 8 miles to ER.
But like I said in another post the owner of Ramseur Diner would like everyone to come by his place.
I’ll see him tomorrow and maybe he’ll give me a little something for plug?
