As young as Mount airy is even if they do lose this year they're going to be heavy favorites next season and probably the season after that
Probably so but I don’t know about heavy favorites- we’re just as young. We only have 6 or 7 seniors playing this year.

And if I’m not mistaken, Eastern Randolph has a youngish team this year as well.

Going from what I've heard about them they have a really good JV team this season. Yeah true this tarboro team is the Youngest since 2016. However I'm optimistic about the future because of the amount of playing time our young players are getting.

I haven't heard that about Eastern Randolph i know they had a very impressive win over 3a Eastern alamance. One team in the west I don't think many are talking about is Mitchell.

We played a team earlier this year that had 1900 students.
As far as that goes Mitchell played two 4A schools the biggest one 1,890 and a 3A in non-conference games but these are playoff games same classification just say that a pretty big difference between two 2A schools.

Robbinsville and Andrews are very young too. The majority of its core players being sophomores and juniors. Shaping up to be a very interesting playoff for the next few years to come.
