game is on the line and you cannot make a routine easy out at shortstop, possible double play, bobble the ball and everyone is safe. Pitcher cannot get a bunt and throw the ball to first - overthrows.

After seeing our 17n third basemen screw us out of the game at Trustmark park I guessed it was a fluke.

I swear to God you could get some high schoolers out there in the infield playing better defense than this.

Watching MSU not make routine infield plays - pathetic, no excuse, sad.

Ogden, if your play loses us this game then you might as well wear some red and blue pajamas tonight.

They are screwed up between the ears as well. That grounder was nothing more than trying to rush through it. Worried about making the toss before you field the ball. Whitney's toss to first was the same. Trying to make a play somewhere else. Then rushing the throw to first. Dropping pop ups......

You are right though. They are terrible. Comically terrible.

I don't see how the pitchers do as well as they do. If I was pitching, I would not want to throw anything close to a strike. As anything in play likely means a base runner.

I don't know what was worse, the fact that your defense played that poorly, or the fact that we were handed so many opportunities in that inning and only came away with 3 runs. Had our offense done anything to go with that comedy of errors, they could've blown it open. We did nothing with it other than what you wanted to give us

Someone tell Ogden if you going to hit .083 in league Play you should never ever ever ever make an error. In fact you should be making spectacular plays diving all over the damn place taking away hits from the other team. Not making errors on routing DP balls and losing us games.
