Not picking on the Manning's but yeah I'm tired of their **** and the fact is if

this guy can stay healthy, keep his morals/ethics intact, and make the kind of impact in the NFL that I think
he can then his is a story that few can equal. His path to greatness has been 100's of times more difficult and any company needing a good athlete/man to push their products should jump at the chance to have Banks involved.

Well....

Archie did have it kind of rough. Coming home and finding your Dad after he committed suicide and cleaning it up before your mom could get there is pretty bad.

The kids obviously had it nice, but I'd say Archie had it fairly rough. They weren't rich growing up, either. He's made it nice for his kids.

You could probably draw a few parallels to John and Archie, without the absent mother and he wasn't raising a son in college- he did, however, try to quit school when that happened to come home and work for his family.

That's fair and I have enjoyed cold beverages with Archie Manning and I consider

him a class guy. I'm just hoping that John Banks can find our version of Bank Plus and torture Rebel fans
with endless dumbass commercials for the next twenty years**. Not hating on the Mannings.

Yeah, I gotcha.

Archie is a tough guy, and he's also a smart guy business-wise. He was probably the catalyst behind all of their endorsements. It's not only because they're great athletes... I think Archie talked business with them early on and probably initiated a lot of it. And it helps them (Peyton and Eli) having someone who's been around that they can trust and is looking out for their best interests.

I hope John can do that one day. I don't think he has the advantages those two have, and corner isn't a "sexy" position like quarterback.... and he doesn't have Archie guiding him.

He can at least act as well as Peyton, though.
