Meant to vote for Murphy. Accidentally hit Pamlico. Don’t know if that’s some kind of an omen or not.
Its like this as a Black Knight fan, If Murphy wins that’s another win for the SMC and if Pamlico wins we’ll... that makes it a little harder on Murphy surpassing us. So I guess I’m pretty much neutral with a little bias for my SMC brethren. But either way its a win-win for me.

I think Murphy guts it out, finds a way somehow. Going to be much tougher than it would've been though and it was never going to be easy.

Some call it “sand bagging” but I prefer “strategic pessimism”.
Murray will have a big season next year when he shifts over to RB and becomes the feature back. He'll be running behind the best Murphy o-line in years and he'll get more carries than McRae and McTaggart got because Murphy won't be as deep in the backfield as they have been recently.
Dorsey should also have a breakout year too at WB, he fits the mold of a traditional Murphy wingback. Murray is a natural RB playing WB.

It’s the LINE ! Offensive & Defensive Line wins games. Yes great backs make it exciting but it starts on the line. Allen, Murray, Dorsey and the young guys will still have the athleticism to win this game running behind the best 1A line in the state

So we shut out pamlico . Shut out North Stanly, and hold edenton to seven, but east is going to score 35 on us? I’ll eat the crow if I’m wrong but it’s hard for me to imagine east scoring that many points on our defense
Our defense has been the gold standard all year in 1A which has made most of our games predictable and a little bit boring after the half. I look forward to facing a team we have never played before. That little bit of uncertainty makes this game more exciting. That being said, I can't imagine ES scoring more than 14 at the most. Tarboro's D will force their will on the ES offense.

East is the best team Tarboro has played and its not close. Still not enough. East moves the ball some, but has a difficult time scoring and tacks on a late touchdown to make it seem a little closer.

Tarboro hasn’t faced a team with an offense as good as east's since the title game last year against MA and I don’t believe this years defense is as good despite the stats the word around town is that secondary is subject to be torched
Offense as good? I’ll get back to you after Saturday about that one. Torched?? 14 pts is the most given up all season to a team who has a receiver that is unlike anyone that east has.
