#1-Sussex 7 playoff teams played 44-44 opponent W-L, SOS 27.8, team rating 61.2

#2-RH 7 playoff teams played 54-48 opponent W-L, SOS 41.4, team rating 68.1

#3-CB 6 playoff teams played 46-43 opponent W-L, SOS 23.1, team rating 41.6

#4-LB 6 playoff teams played 47-58 opponent W-L, SOS 25.7, team rating 45.7

#5-AV 7 playoff teams played 58-55 opponent W-L, SOS 40.9, team rating 56.0

#7-Essex 8 playoff teams played 62-42 opponent W-L, SOS 35.1, team rating 38.0

#9-Luray 6 playoff teams played 50-54 opponent W-L, SOS 37.6, team rating 46.6

#11-CC 5 playoff teams played 49-49 opponent W-L, SOS 14.0, team rating 20.6

Those are the sos and team ratings given by the VHSL.

Heaven knows how they come up with them. Lol. Essex and Galax have almost identical opponent won/loss record and the same amount of opponents make the playoffs yet Galax is way higher in team rating. Maybe because they have more overall wins i guess. Not sure if any other team played a 4A and/or a 5A school like Essex did though. Both those teams made the playoffs as well

Yeah imo Essex played the hardest regular season schedule. With Galax in at 2nd
