strength and conditioning. After all the injuries last season you think they would have gotten a strength coach who knows what he is doing. Ya'll can tell me I am wrong all you want but I will stand by saying you get injuries when you have weak strength and conditioning.

He tore his ACL in the Spring. He was a FR thrown into the fire and heavily relied on near the end of the season, likely resulting in the eventual tear. Our DL became injury riddled due to an implosion of depth and guys being pushed to do more out of necessity. This happens to all LOS units if they are not built properly and ours clearly was not

Ah. That explains why Lebby said he's out for preseason practice "and probably a lot longer." If he tore it in the spring, it might be possible for him to play a little this fall.

I’m sure he would’ve played but I don’t think he was expected to be a starter this year. On a normal team he redshirts last year but we were so disastrously bad and had so little depth that he played early. Sounds like it may even out this year and he may redshirt a year later than expected.

I'm going to choose to believe that it was our brand spanking new All-SEC road graders on the O line that caused the damage

This sucks, but I guess it's hard to get down about much when your expectations are already as low as they can go

I bet he would have played a lot and probably started. It's not like we brought in much in the portal. Best one is a guy who had fewer tackles than he did at Coastal Carolina.

Well he wouldn’t have played much last year if Dinkins hadn’t gotten hurt. And Dinkins returned and we added a slew of other bodies to the DL room, all more experienced than McClendon.

I figure they planned on him being in the rotation but not really a centerpiece.

We had one. He died of a heart attack and they apparently stopped using his beach. Lets just face it. When Coach Leach died our chances of having a decent football team ever again died with him.

It really is nuts how when we have bad coaches, like Croom, Sloppy and Heavy.....our team also appears terribly out of shape and injury prone.

The idiot contingent in this fanbase is SO strong, that they even convinced Leach's hand-picked assistant and successor, to go against what Leach was doing. That is the measure of toxicity and plumb stupidity among our bunch. We all get drug down due to it.

The key is to watch football as a collective sport, sort care a little more about basketball, and be more of a fanatic about baseball.

On the bright side, the schemes coming from the brilliant defensive minds on this staff should more than compensate for a missing defensive starter.***

Leach or no Leach recruiting had fallen of a cliff , nil has killed State football more than anything. Without a huge influx of money ,it ain't coming back anytime soon. I hope I am wrong.

This is the biggest bullshiggityshit lie our fanbase tells itself.

Recrootin fell off when Arnett and the RDB bros shlt on the Air Raid, ran off a few guys, and brought in defective ones. Then Heavy totally blew it up.

Probably our best returning DT is out with a torn knee ligament. This is not good.
He's not our best returning starter and he probably wouldn't be starting anyway. Definitely hurts depth though but that's a deep group with all they brought in. The RS year should help him a lot too.

Leach signed 5 out of the top 10 players in state. hS recruiting will wind up ranked in the 50s this year

I can't keep up with all the nicknames we seem to have adopted lately. Who is Howdy Doody? And for that matter, who is Heavy? Is that Lebby's name now?
Here you are worried about nicknames, and I’m not sure that I’d recognize more than 5 of their real names

Data doesn’t really support your argument like AT ALL.

Name a defensive player that arnett or lebby ran off or even just lost that would help us last year or this year.

JUST ONE!! You can’t you qeer

collins is a corner for Penn state, Nicholson is a corner for usc, Deonte Anderson was a good recruit, Trevion and Dinkins were good signings. Crappy coaches failed to develop talent and ran off a lot of good players. leach brought in many good players from the portal with very little nil funding. Jaylin Green, Jackie Matthews, Randy Charlton, speedy banks, who in the hell have Arnett and Lebby brought in ?

again Leach signed 5 out of the top ten players in state, we are going to be in the 50s with this class.
