I’d just like to know when the last time Andrew’s had a high probability of winning conference? 93’ maybe? They were competitive. They haven’t even sniffed it sense then

I think it was a few years later, around the time Andrews beat Rville 4-0 over the span of two seasons. Cats were pretty good those years but I don't think they still ever beat Murphy or Swain.

Adams 93-804 4 games.

That's 23-201 yds a game

Simmons has Robbinsville as 3rd toughest schedule in 1a. I imagine that will go up after this game is added.

Andrews schedule is ranked 41st toughest.

When Robbinsville opens the play book for Williams, then you will see the best 2 backs in the conference. I expect we will see that in conference play. He showed his potential against the best defense we played last spring against Mitchell

Your not going to get a better back duo then Weaver and Martin. “Thunder and lightning”

Looks like MaxPreps before yesterday had Robbinsville strength of schedule number was better then Andrews as well but thing is the only one that counts as far as the nchsaa RPI is concerned they both played before last night 2-3 teams it doesn't look at playing a higher classification like the others probably do which they probably should, there other states that use the RPI formula also gives credit for playing up but depending on the oowp of the teams they played with Robbinsville losing their RPI will probably drop and Andrews winning their probably will go up.
Probably just going to come down to the game between them.

Please correct if I’m wrong, last year Robbinsville held “ Thunder and Lightning “ to about 20 yards on 40 carries which sounds more like “ fair to partly cloudy “
Martin didn’t play last year but Wilson was averaging a lot of yards at that point too.

All in good fun . Congratulations on Andrews success. It’s about time to put your cards on the table and lets see what you got ! I’d say Andrews and Swain will be a good one. Who knows how good Robbinsville is . Very uncharacteristic for a Robbinsville team to fumble this many times in a year. Can someone shed some light on the turnovers last night? I wasn’t at the game and only heard what went on. I do know you want beat many teams fumbling the ball 6 or 7 times

It’s all good. Here is where it gets real. Swain up next for Wildcats and they are more like the Swain of the past. Much respect for Swain. Also everyone seems to look over Cherokee but after their game against Murphy last night you better bring your A game !! Good luck to all SMC teams

There is no question Robbinsville would be 4-0 if not for the fumbles. Most of the fumbles are from mishandling the ball..very few have been caused by the defense. It's gonna happen when you have freshman and sophomores getting a lot of touches. It will get better

Robbinsville has the best back and the best back duo. As good as Weaver and Martin is Williams and Adams are slightly better. When it comes down to it, line play will decide the game between the two.

Williams is the better all around player but he's not a better back than Martin. He's not a better back than Weaver either, Weaver is the 2nd best back in the conference in my opinion.

I gotta go with Martin over Weaver. I watched the full Mitchell/Andrews game and Martin was like a wrecking ball. A very hard nosed tough runner. Robbinsville has issues...Murphy has issues...conference is totally up for grabs this year.

We shall see. I’d say we’re both just guessing or sharing our opinion at this point. We really won’t know until they play the game.
Yards in that game tell us nothing in regards to who the better back or backs are. Robbinsville still has the better line.

Talent wise, as purely a back, it's #1 Adams, #2 Weaver, #3 Martin, #4 Williams in my honest opinion. All are excellent football players, so really it's irrelevant.

Weaver wasnt 100% in that game or last night, he's been playing hurt since week 1.

I agree here. In my opinion Williams is more of a old school blocking fullback. He can get you some hard yards and will occasionally break a long one. He is the best blocking back I have seen in years.

Gotta disagree there. Williams can also put the team on his back and carry them. Depends on how he is used….

I said it 2 years ago and I'll say it again, Williams reminds of me Chase Roberts from Murphy. Same positions essentially and same size even. Neither got/get the glory of some of the flashier skill talent but talk to people that know the game and they'll tell you Roberts was the best all around football player Murphy had on their state title team in 2018. He was in general one of the best LB's Ive seen at Murphy but the kid could've literally played almost any position of the field and been good there. I feel like Williams is in the same mold

Yep those types don’t get a lot of attention but always come up clutch when the teams in a dog fight.

Sounds about right to me. I’m sure any team would love having 1 Thur 4 on their team . Truly am happy for Andrews and their success. Having them playing good football is great for the conference. I’m not sure if the league is down this year or if the top to bottom gap has closed that much. I will say that I’m happy we play Andrews under the Oaks.
