Amazing this guy was so valuable and people didn't realize it: last night a perfect example we had no one to guard Battle and Mawot would have been the one not the only reason obviously we lost but its obvious for everyone that he may have been our MVP!!
Second big and even bigger we have no press with out Mawot and that was very key to many of our victories and of course this also coincides with Paul playing like absoulute sht in the those 7 games
Also our rebounding has taken a hit on both ends of the floor

Six of the eight games were on the road…although we actually played as well or better on the road as compared to home during that eight game stretch.

Having Mag back?
Will that stop us from making stupid fouls, missing key FTs, not grabbing a rebound when it means something and letting a LAST PLACE team make us their obedient dog in the last 1:15 of a crucial game?

This. A last place team that was 1-16 going into last night’s game. Beyond demoralizing to lose when a team is up 10 points with 75 seconds left.

This. Winning conference basketball games is hard. Winning conference road games is really hard. But winning when you're up 10 points with a minute left is not hard. We earned something meaningful and pissed it away. I'm utterly bereft.

It wasn't just Mag per se, it was more so the drop off in the bench depth behind him.

Exactly we have no depth and that is on Pike but hopefully going forward with this strong recruiting this should not be an issue and hopefully many even better days are ahead

He has built a great program. We are on the rise just hitting a huge pothole right now. We won same amount of games as last year. Schedule has been backloaded with 6 away / neutral site games in the last 8 but we won 3 on the road and blew it last night. Gotta fight back once again. Just like the last 3 years.

It is 3-5. MSU he played 9 minutes

We are 109 in Bart including that game
If Mag wasn't playing those first 9 minutes the game would have been over. He was the only one who came to play from the opening tip and kept us in it early

I’ll take your word for it. I don’t remember what I had for dinner last night

(Actually that is a lie!)

I am thinking we raise the dues for the fan club next year. You and I had very few members last year.

2023-24 we charge $50 and you get a #3 Rutgers T shirt and a fake 2023 bracket with Rutgers as a 4 seed playing in Albany.
