Great game Clinton.....NS Jax has a good squad I'm sure we will see them again in the postseason.....Horses showed a lot of heart....feeling really good about this team Jalen Smith was the man tonight...big game by Kris Williams as well and if course Skinner making plays on offense and defense..........wonder what Ninja will say about our team since he picked NS-Jax to win the east in 2AA

I was most concerned with our secondary coming into this game because they really hadn't been tested up until tonight. They adjusted to man coverage which helped make the difference in the game. Also the pressure on the QB provided by Kramer, Skinner & Co. got us out of some tight spots at various points in the game. That battering ram named Jalen Smith is a MAN among boys out there! Next up, Hoggard.

Great game by the DarkHorses taking out # 6 JaxNorthside 35-16. Horses were in control the whole game. Outstanding game by sophomore Jalen Smith & junior Chris Williams on offense and defense. DarkHorses had to make personnel adjustments on defense due a key player held out but everyone stepped up to the plate. Also a very fine game at linebacker by Michael Kramer. Great job kicking, particularly deep kickofffs by Chandler Perry. Total team effort against a very good team. Depending on the split of the classification the DarkHorses will most likely see JaxNorthside again the playoffs.

And we did it without one of if not the best defensive player on the team....Jalen Smith was making plays on defense as well from the LB spot also AJ Williamson.....Kramer was all over the field ran down that athletic QB a couple times.....secondary had its issues but they stepped up when needed those were some big fast athletic receivers and the QB was a heck of a athlete......on offense Jalen had some big time runs dragging 2-3 defenders with him,he did have that strange fumble ball popped wayyyyy up in the air oddest thing I seen in awhile....Ryheem had some good runs seemed to have some problems with cramps possible but I think he is OK....Wright had some big runs late in the game.....let's not forget that offensive line great job all the way around.....this should be a big confidence booster heading into the Hoggard game

East Duplin just might have something to do with this at the end of the year

East Duplin is good and trust we not overlooking the Panthers but the way our defense is playing I don't see a team and that includes Wallace simply just running the ball and beating us

yeah i don't have any ideas about our enrollment numbers...been going slowly down the last couple of years so we've been playing 2A...usually we are very close to the cutoff between A and AA. could go either way depending on who qualifies I guess................if we are AA we will definitely be East...if A...West........

Would love to see that matchup happen ! Clinton is in about the middle of the ADE so it depends on who makes the field. Last year was the first time the Horrses played in the 2AA division.

I will contact the school and get the 20-day enrollment when the time comes. Looking at the figures from last year, and the classes that came from the middle school, we should be higher than the 888 student population from last year...should be well over 930 this year.

With our enrollment increase I'm pretty sure we'll be in the 2AA bracket but again It depends on the rest of the qualifying field
