But back in the day, that game was as big of an upset as Appalachian St. beating Michigan plus the in-state factor. And USM didn't just beat Mississippi, theybeat the **** out of them, 30-14. USM went on to lose to Mississippi State 51-15 the next week. Funny how their old timers don't like to talk about that game as much.

Those uniforms will look great at homecoming. Are from the early 70's Ray Guy era. MSU did well against USM in those years. Of course I doubt MSU fans would want to see the late 70's and 80's USM uniforms again when USM went 10-4 against MSU.
