Major issuer is the Big 12 has zero future until Texas and Oklahoma decide Big 12 stability is priority and the grab 2-4 solid programs. Personally if Big 12 would add Cinci, UCF, BYU and maybe Memphis Some Virginia Mid Major that wants to step up that would probably increase their national reputation. Whether you can admit it or not the Big 12 is not attractive nationally.
Neither conference is.
There are big time programs in the other 3 conferences
But only two conferences are financially stable.
Texas and OU understood this and created the Big 12 so they could have financial stability.
The issue with the ACC and Pac 12 is that the big schools who have value don't have financial stability
You keep going back to ACC. ACC may be in need of more money, always true, but the solutions are within the conference and within their footprint. The only threat to ACC is if a super conference is created amongst the big boys. Other than that the ball is in the Big 12 court to stabilize with GOR and expansion

Used to be nice to come in here and see people talking about WVU sports, but he has taken over the forum, and turned it into a Texas forum.
