and while having to play Jawja and Fla in the same season, its no easier for East teams playing LSU and Bammer in the same season...its life in the SEC

We have to get better and close the gap- and I think Mullen is doing that- we will be bowling fo sho in 2010

Honestly I wouldn't mind if we don't play any teams from BCS conferences until we start winning at least 8 games a year for a couple of years. Play teams like Houston and Tulane, maybe throw in a USF or UCF. Our schedule is tough enough for us being in the SEC.

......."BRUTAL" ought to be strung up by the balls. Someone says it every year. Well 17, let's please just get the 17 out of the SEC so that I don't have to see that **** anymore. We either get our **** together and start competing in this conference, or we give the 17 up and focus all our energy on basketball and baseball. Either way, the reality is that our schedule will hardly ever be less than "brutal." It just comes off as an excuse, and I'm sick of excuses.

rough SEC schedule (normal) and having to go to Bama, LSU, Florida and Ole Miss in the same year. The more than just tough no matter what you say.

Edited to add: Maybe I should have said brutal away schedule. Either way its tough.

In fact, we were all talking about how goddamn easy it was. But this year's schedule is the definition of brutal. It's probably the toughest schedule we've ever played in our history.

Everyone was saying that with our schedule, it was time for Crxxms to make real progress if he was ever going to make it. A retarded, poop flinging monkey should have been able to coach last year's team to 6-8 wins.

I know they weren't like that when we scheduled them but damn that is bad luck. We need 4 games that are easier than our SEC games right now. We need the wins until we can get to bowl games regularly.

a terrible UT teams from the east when you are in the SEC west. A good coach could have won eight last year.

I thought that was what we had??? Croom must have been the exception to that rule.

As much as I kept saying that Crxxm sucked and that 2007 was a fluke (like a lone prophet shouting in the wilderness), even I predicted us to win 7 games last year with that schedule.

We're really due against UGA, the rest of the home games should be wins(even Auburn), UF will lose Tebow and possibly Corch Meyers, so that's a possible upset depending on what happens, and the UM game is always a toss up. No way we beat Bama or LSU on the road though. It's honestly way too far off to make any assumptions on how tough our schedule will be as there are always crazy coach moves in the offseason and there's no certainty on if we're going to improve.

Smart move on Byrne's part to get a I-AA team on this year's schedule and also fill a home slot on the 2012 schedule.</p>

That's what i'm saying...don't like seeing UF and GA show up from time to time with Alabama and LSU? Get the #(*$%& out of the SEC. Don't like seeing an average-to-above-average BCS school for non-conf? Sack up and get with the program.
