One thing I like already: No more of this yahoo account stuff that Phil Cunningham used when asking around for basketball opponents. I am a bit surprised that we want a home and home versus a BCS conference team though. I thought that with the roster in flux that the schedule would be pretty light especially with what Ray said a few days ago:
<span class="aa"></span>
<span class="pp"></span></p>
<span class="aa"></span>
<span class="pp"></span></p>
Our
schedule is very difficult. There are some things we just discovered
(Tuesday). We have a contract to go to Utah State (in 2013). Obviously
Utah State is one of the best mid-majors there is, especially at their
place.<span class="aa"></span></p>
<span class="pp"></span>We play in
the toughest tournament known to mankind out at Maui and then we come
back from that and our next game is Baylor. ... We open up our season at
Troy.<span class="aa"></span></p><span class="pp"></span>... If I
had my say-so, we wouldn't have that type of a schedule. So, that's a
concern. Just our schedule. I think we can put together a team that's
going to be competitive. Now, will we win the SEC? I don't think anybody
ever knows that but the way we play defense and take care of the
basketball, we'll win games.
