IMO the 1994 PH team had the best offensive line I have ever seen in high school. Nobody else is close. They mauled people up front.

You're not the first to say this. I hear that a lot.

Was that the year they lost the title to Phoebus in the mud? If so, didn't the O line average about 325lbs?

No, they finished 14-0 and rolled everybody. OL had Damien Woody(Boston College), Eronn Kenney(Florida), Andre Curtis(VMI), Keith Short(VT) and a couple other good ones whose names escape me right now. Had a kid at QB who started at Marshall as a DB. I'm sure some PH or Central Region historian can fill in the holes

Gotcha Danny. I have an old friend who was a long time line Coach for Ray Long. He had a lot to work with at PH, but humbly would never take any credit for their successes. But undoubtably had a hand in their strong lines in that era.

Wow, Bulldog! That's a decade of high level college recruits for many schools.

Danielle Derricott was the name of the guy who played qb and who went on to Marshall. One of the most dominating teams I can ever remember in the Richmond area
