They've hosted before, and Indy held it recently. They're indoor stadiums. I don't think that's a big deal.

But the Super Bowl is about more than the game. What are you going to do all week?

The game itself won`t be a problem but logistics and all the other Super Bowl stuff could be a CF. Hey I`m not going so it`s all good with me....in fact it could be quite entertaining.

Bunch of pussies. So what if it might be cold. The Super Bowl has been held in the north several times and somehow they've managed to pull it off every time. If you build a $1 billion stadium, you will host a Super Bowl. Simple as that.

I think this has been overthought in the last 3-4 Super Bowls. The Pro Bowl is about festivities. The Super Bowl is business. If you win it you go to Disney World.

Do people think if the Super Bowl was in Miami last year instead of New York Peyton Manning heads to the beach to relax?

They had it in the nineties and people loved it

I'm sure you came find some space to have the events. When did people become such pussies? Jeez. And how many complaining actually go to the Super Bowl? They have freaking walkways from building to building above the streets if you don't want to get chilly.

No one is talking about the players playing in the game partying all week- it's about the people who come to town (and those already there). And it's a week-long party leading up to the game. Trust me- it's awesome.

Indianapolis's weather is closer to Starkville's than it is Minneapolis's. That said, they keep the streets clean in Minneapolis and they have skyways. No reason not to have it there.

I think they should go all out and have the SB in Green Bay.

Yeah, I mean I get that, but are beach vacations the only kind? Granted, I don't want to vacation to Minnesota more than you do, but New York, San Francisco, Seattle, etc are all places I'd like to see on any given vacation anyway. I have no desire to go to Pheonix. It might as well be in Minnesota at that point.

New Orleans is the perfect place to hold an event, and I know I'm biased here. But there isn't another town in America that has a 75,000 seat stadium in the middle of downtown with accommodations (hotels and restaurants) for a festival setting.

We missed it in New York. I hope it is -40 with 3 feet of snow. Yeah that will teach them. ***
