Thanks for the update. I forgot that I missed getting these. Now I'll struggle with not knowing how to do the same for Reg A & B again this year. Also I'm guilty of being a bit intimidated by the work required to faithfully stay on top of this stuff without some sort of AI device!!

B wouldn't be too bad to calculate, but A is an entirely different story. Of the 11 teams in Region A, you'd need to keep track of season results from 56 teams. That's just too time consuming.

Marshall has a bye, Yorktown, Langley, Wakefield, and Herndon left. The only game that will be competitively hard for them will be Yorktown and a lot will depend on whether their middle linebacker Dylan Liskey will be able to get back on the field after breaking his arm (in 3 places). Liskey did not play in the James Madison game.

Oakton will drops down once they hit the Concorde schedule... they may not win another game...

For Marshall to land in the 4th spot to host a game, a lot will depend on how well Westfield runs the 5 games in the Concorde gauntlet...

Definitely, i'll probably ramp up my NFHS Network games to watch the Concord battle out the remaing part of their schedule!

SPL311U, I agree on your points about Marshall. I watched the Madison at Marshall game, and quite a few cars driving on 495…but Marshall is a very good squad. If they get healthy and win out, third place isn’t out of the question. The remaining schedule for the Concorde teams can become brutal. Westfield vs South Lakes this week is not an elimination game, but the loser could be in trouble for a playoff spot.

SL’s next 4 games, Westfield, Chantilly, Centreville, Madison. Pretty tough stretch.

The same type situation exists in Region C, the top 7 point leaders are from the Patriot district. Robinson and South County are very much on a collision course, but they don’t play in the regular season.

West Springfield has put themselves in the mix, but plays Robinson, South County and Alex. City in the next 3. We will know a whole bunch about WS by Oct 23.

Anyone got predictions on who squeaks into the playoffs that isn't in a top 8 spot now for C or D?
I'll guess Annandale and McLean

I think Hayfield has a good shot at winning out and jumping Mt Vernon in points, although earning a first round playoff matchup with South County or Robinson is not much to look forward to.

Just to point out a difference in these points and the VHSL points. 237 vs 235
Yorktown has 2 less from VHSL, and I assume it is from the Wilson game.
I see 2 wins for Wilson, (4 PPts) and a 1 step classification jump (6vs5) for 2 PPts.
In the detail VHSL has 4 rider points listed for Yorktown's win over Wilson. Should be 6.
I cannot imagine why either win wouldn't count as Eastern and Ballou are league games for Wilson


Since it appears that Yorktown will be in a top 4 spot after this week, those 2 points could be important.
